Dr. Moran is married with 2 children and has made Houston-Cypress home for his family. Among his personal interests are traveling and spending time with family.

Joining Diabetes Texas as physician owner is Dr. Timothy P. Moran. A New Orleans native, Dr. Moran received his undergraduate degree from LSU in 2005 and his M.D. from the LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport in 2009. He performed his residency in Internal Medicine at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, completing his program in 2012. He performed a second residency in Endocrinology through the University of Mississippi in 2014 before joining The Baton Rouge Clinic.

Certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Moran is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas and Louisiana. He is also a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the Endocrine Society. He previously practiced at the Baton Rouge Clinic.

Dr. Moran will begin seeing patients on January 16, 2021. He is excited and optimistic about working with the current staff and patients at Diabetes Texas.
